🪡 Step-by-Step Instructions:

  • This block uses the Stitch-and-Flip technique — be sure to check your alignment before trimming the seam.

  • Check orientation carefully — the ribbons should spiral around the center!

  • A precise 1/4" seam is key to matching the angles—sew accurately and press after each seam.

*** If you'd like a slightly larger block, simply enlarge the border. For a finished size of 8", cut the borders to (2) 1.5" x 5.5" and (2) 1.5" x 8.5".

The quilt block pattern with bright, multicolored pinwheel style designs on a checkered background. Gray border with text texture surrounds the quilt.

This example quilt layout for 6" square, measures approximately 44" x 55". You'll need about 1.5 yards of fabric for the background, 5/8 yard for the sashing, and 1/2 yard for the border.

On point layout.
