Why You’ll Love This Pattern

  • Great for showcasing your favorite floral fabrics

  • Perfect for using scraps or small cuts

  • Quick project for seasonal décor or handmade gifts

About the Design

Each tulip block is made in two parts:

  • A soft, octagon-like flower top created with stitch-and-flip corners

  • A simple stem and leaf unit that brings the tulip to life

When placed together, the three blocks create a clean and balanced layout, framed with sashing and borders for a polished finish. The different floral prints give each tulip its own personality while still keeping the overall look cohesive.

Tips for Best Results

  • Sew a thread away from the diagonal line in stitch-and-flip steps to preserve your alignment. Take a moment to check alignment before trimming—it makes a big difference

  • Press seams in opposite directions so they nest nicely

  • Spin the center seams where needed for a flatter finish
