Summer is hereāand so is the sunshine! āļø If you're anything like me, you probably find yourself constantly misplacing your glasses (especially when you're switching between sunglasses and readers). So I thought, why not make a cute little eyeglass case that you can wear around your neck?

Itās practical, beginner-friendly, and perfect for those summer outings. Plus, thereās a touch of applique, which you can either needle-turn (like I love to do!) or use the press-and-sew method. Small pieces? No problemāuse a dab of glue to help keep them in place while stitching.
š”What Youāll Learn
Simple patchwork piecing
Easy applique techniques
Adding structure with interfacing
Making a neat strap with D-rings and swivel clips
Finishing with a snap button closure
āļø Materials You'll Need:
Exterior fabric (quilting cotton works great)
Lining fabric
Medium-weight fusible interfacing
Snap button
D-ring and swivel clip (aka ąø«ą¹ąø§ąøąøąøąø«ąø”ąø²)
A 2" wide strip for the strap (length as you prefer)
Optional: Fabric glue for applique

š§µ Quick Tutorial Highlights
Hereās a peek at what you'll do:
Add a sweet applique (needle-turn or glue + press, your choice!)
Fuse medium-weight interfacing to the back of your main fabric
Sew panels together, leaving a 1.5ā gap for turning
Turn it right side out and press
Add a snap button about 0.75" above the center edge
Make the strap: Fold a 2" strip in half twice, press and topstitch
Thread it through the D-ring, stitch to secure, and youāre done!
