Each block features crisp stitch-and-flip angles that create a blooming petal look, echoed by the diagonal cross blocks in between—hence the name Blooming Echoes. The quilt may look detailed from afar, but the construction is friendly and straightforward once you start.
🎨 Fabric & Color Inspiration
This quilt shines in gradients, solids, and scrappy mixes alike. For the sample design, I used a mix of reds, purples, pinks, and oranges for the flowers, softened with lavender-toned X blocks and a clean white background. A deep purple border frames everything beautifully and gives the quilt a polished finish.
Feel free to play with seasonal palettes—pastels for spring, sunset tones, Christmas reds and greens, or even monochrome for a modern look.
